The intern will work hands-on alongside the team to support data analytics delivery, help build and maintain audit analytics solutions, and contribute to the development of continuous assurance dashboards. It's a practical, execution-focused role — ideal for someone who wants real exposure to how data analytics is applied in an enterprise audit environment.</span></p><p><span lang="EN-GB"><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li><span lang="EN-GB">Support the development and maintenance of reusable audit analytics scripts, data tests, and visualizations used across assurance engagements</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Assist in building and refining Continuous Controls Assurance (CCA) dashboards in PowerBI, including data preparation, transformation logic, and visual design</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, clean, and analyze data from enterprise systems</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Help validate data quality across key dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness) as part of data audit fieldwork</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Contribute to documenting data lineage, transformation logic, and analytic workpapers to ensure repeatability and auditability</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Support data pipeline tasks including source identification, ingestion, and ETL/ELT validation under supervision</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Assist in identifying opportunities to automate manual audit processes and streamline reporting workflows</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Prepare clear, well-structured data visualizations and summaries that translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span lang="EN-GB"><strong>Preferred Education &amp; Experience:</strong></span></p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li><span lang="EN-GB">Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Solid working knowledge of SQL (required) and Python or R (strongly preferred)</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly PowerBI or similar (Tableau, Looker)</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse is a plus</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Basic understanding of data governance concepts, data quality principles, or audit fundamentals is an advantage</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Experience with ETL/ELT concepts or data pipeline tools is desirable</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work with large datasets</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Good communication skills - able to explain technical work clearly to a non-technical audience</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment</span></li></ul>
