Job PurposeThis role will be responsible for facilitating operational requests from the Shipping lines, Rail Customers, transport operators and Freight Forwarders in and out of Melbourne Container Park and ensure these are processed effectively to minimise disruption to depot operations.Please note this role is on afternoon shift. Key Accountabilities<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Support gate, yard operations & centralised teams </li><li>Preparation of documentation for yard operations </li><li>Liaising with customers and key stakeholders for FCL and empty collection requirements</li><li>Liaise with terminals regarding operation requirements </li><li>Liaise with shipping lines to execute job completion</li><li>Ensure data integrity is maintained for all operational systems </li><li>Coordinating with yard supervisor on equipment requests            </li><li>Ensure all plans are effective to minimise disruption to depot operations</li><li>Confirm completion of Import/Export and Quarantine deliveries with Customers</li><li>AQIS record keeping</li><li>Manage any discrepancies from the previous day operations</li><li>Forecasting for daily operations</li><li>Manage reefer operations, including yard checks and planning</li></ul>Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will possess the following:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Current drivers license</li><li>3 years industry experience in a container park/logistics related role</li><li>Experience in data-entry</li><li>Knowledge of 1-Stop and Transport Management Systems, desirable</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li></ul>Supporting equality<a name="_Hlk180057744">DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
