We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Administration Intern to join our IT team in Charlotte, NC. This internship will provide exposure to IT Service Management and system administration tasks with a focus on the Atlassian product suite (Jira). It’s an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in IT operations. <ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:48px;"><li>On-site role</li><li>Location: Charlotte, NC (DP World does not offer accommodations for internships)</li><li>Strong performance could lead to a full-time position after graduation</li><li>10-week program that will run from June 2026 to August 2026</li></ul> KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES<ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:48px;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Assist with Jira system administration, including handling basic functions and requests</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Support optimization efforts within IT systems and tools</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Help troubleshoot user issues and provide technical support</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Participate in projects related to IT Service Management (ITSM)</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Document processes and contribute to system improvement initiatives</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS<ul><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Interest in IT Service Management and systems administration</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Basic familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) preferred</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Strong problem-solving and communication skills</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively</li></ul>What You Will Gain <ul><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Hands-on experience with IT systems administration and ITSM processes</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Exposure to Jira and Atlassian products in a corporate environment</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Opportunities to develop technical and problem-solving skills</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Mentorship and guidance from experienced IT professionals</li></ul> Please note: This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
